Hyperthermophiles:
Recently prokaryotes that require extremely high temperatures in order to grow have been isolated. The amazing temperature which they require is at an optimum level of 80-110°C.
hyperthermophiles consist of primary producers and consumers of organic matter
these appear to be the most primitive organisms because they occupy all the shortest and deepest branches closest to the root of the phylogenetic tree.
similar anaerobic chemolithoautotrophic hyperthermophiles, completely independent of a sun , could even exist on other planets provided that active volcanism and liquid water were present
NOTE:
We usually boil water to kill all bacteria and living organisms but in fact these prokaryotes actually survive and thrive at this temperature.
